I refer to him as Edward Cullen the vampire from the amazingly popular “Twilight” saga film series, but his full real name is Robert Douglas Thomas Pattinson, born and raised in London. He made a big hit with the role of Cedric Diggory in “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”. Do you know other TV shows or movies he was in?

His mother worked for a modeling agency and his father imported vintage cars from the U.S. When he was 12, Robert started modeling, but only 4 years his number of jobs began to drop. This is what he said in 2008: “When I first started I was quite tall and looked like a girl, so I got lots of jobs, because it was during that period where the androgynous look was cool. Then, I guess, I became too much of a guy, so I never got any more jobs. I had the most unsuccessful modelling career.” Robert has two older sisters, one whom is a singer. He is an English actor, model, musician and also producer.

Last year in 2010, Robert was named one of TIME magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in The World. Forbes also ranked him as one of the most powerful celebrities in the world in the Forbes Celebrity 100.

Robert plays the guitar and piano. He even composes his own music. He said, “I’ve never really recorded anything – I just played in pubs and stuff.” and “Music is my back-up plan if acting fails.” Last year Robert was given the ‘Hollywood’s Most Influential Top Unexpected Musicians’ award. Many other awards were given to him in the media, and titles like being one of the “Sexiest Men Alive” (People magazine 2008, 2009) and was put onto the “list of young millionaires” by The Sunday Times “Rich List”.
