Jane Austen has every right to feel proud. After all, Ancestry.com has revealed that the popular English writer and Kate Middleton are eleventh cousins, six times removed. Talk about being related to the Royal Family!

Though they are really long distant relatives, the British consider this to be a true bloodline. And it’s been said that Kate Middleton is like a modern-day Jane Austen heroine who marries someone of higher status than herself.

I think in a way, we’re all related to one another. You know, the six degrees of separation.
