After attending a flurry of events, Prince William and Kate Middleton enjoyed a quick R&R before continuing their Canadian tour. They went to Blachford Lake Lodge where they canoed to Eagle’s Island, an island so far north that the sun sets for a brief moment. They spent a well-deserved 3 hours by themselves where they reported had a special dinner by the campfire with local food that included cranberries, bannock break, and caribou steaks.

After this, they went back to Yellowknife by motorboat and seaplane. They will head to Calgary before leaving for California on Friday.
