Katie Holmes and Lucy Liu were caught wearing the same Azzedine Alaia lace dress on the red carpet with about 2 months apart. The only difference were the color of the dress.

Katie Holmes, 32 years, wore a darker orange color of Azzedine Alaia on August 28th to the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards in LA. She wore the dress with wavy hair and Proenza Schouler boots.

Lucy Liu, 42 years, wore a lighter brown color on July 13th to the screening of “Snow Flower and the Secret Fan” in New York City. She wore it with her natural wavy hair along with a red clutch and nude color heels.

In my opinion, I think Katie Holmes wore the dress better. I liked how simple Katie went with the outfit. Who do you think wore it better?
