You all know the old saying of “don’t judge a book by its cover,” and that is what you shouldn’t do when looking at the Taylors. In Fireflies in the Garden, they may seem like the perfect, successful American family, with the father Charles Taylor (Willem Dafoe) being a university professor and soon to become the university president, son Michael Taylor (Ryan Renolds) being a successful romantic novel writer, daughter Ryne (Shannon Lucio) about to enter a prestigious law school and mother Lisa (Julia Roberts) finally graduating from university a decade after she entered due to raising her children. However, once you look at the inside, you start to see that reality comes to play when accident occurs and everything isn’t what it seems to be.

Guess the Rottentomatoes score the movie will have on Friday, Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. EST to win a one of a kind Ryan Renolds Pin. You have until Wed. Oct. 12 at 6 p.m. EST to guess. Any entries after that will not count. The leeway will be 5%.

Currently, the movie has a score of 28% on Rottentomatoes with a general consensus of “Despite boasting a stellar cast, Fireflies in the Garden is just tedious, dull and predictable melodrama. Instantly forgettable.” — keep in mind that a lot can change between now and Friday. Good luck!
