A woman named Mariah Yeater claims that the young pop star is the father of her 3-month-old baby boy. She filed legal paperwork demanding that Bieber take a paternity test to “scientifically confirm” that he is the father, and that she must receive “adequate support” for the baby.

Yeater signed an affidavit saying that she had met the singer backstage after his October 25th, 2010 concert at Los Angeles’ Staples Center. She said that a security guard had noticed her in the crowd and asked if she’d like to meet Justin. She told Star Magazine (via Radar Online) that “it was obvious that we were mutually attracted to one another, and we began to kiss,” and added that Bieber suggested they go somewhere private (otherwise known as a Staples Center bathroom).

Representatives of Justin Bieber quickly retorted to Yeater’s allegations: “While we haven’t yet seen the lawsuit, it’s sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims. We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations.” At the time of the supposed incident, Yeater was 19 and Bieber was 16; this “fling” mangages to avoid any statutory rape charges in California.

Bieber responded to the allegations by tweeting: “all the rumors…the gossip…Im gonna focus on the positives….the music.”

Let’s not get too ahead, though: Star Magazine was the first to report on this incident, and their current issue refers to a Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux wedding that didn’t happen. While might not be the most trustworthy source, keep in mind that they did predict the Kardashian separation last week.

This rumor has been spreading like a wildfire; “Mariah Yeater” is currently trending on Twitter.

This is quite the news! Although I’m pretty sure that the rumor isn’t true, I can’t help but feel bad for both Bieber and Selena Gomez, his current girlfriend. If this rumor happens to be true, then it will definitely take a toll on his career. I’m glad that he’s choosing to focus on music instead of this whole fiasco.

Wow, I read about that. There are also rumors that he got Selena pregnant.
I think it’s funny how people just start rumors and how others believe it. This girl is going to get in trouble if he takes the paternity test and is not the father. And most likely, I’d say he’s not and probably won’t take the test because he knows he is not. So she’s going to get in a lot of trouble, I think. Also, about Selena being pregnant, I don’t believe that also. And I’m not a Belieber either, just what I believe. lol
