Summary: Bella Swan finally gives into Edward Cullen’s wishes of marriage in return for her own wishes. However, after a honeymoon on a private island, horror strikes, and the peace of Forks has been horribly broken - or so everyone thinks.

Rating given by myself: 3 out of 5.

Seeing as how I’m not a Twilight fantic, nor a a Twilight hater, my judgement on this movie will be quite fair on both halves of the situation of Twilight.

I am quite sure that I will find the second half of this movie quite interesting, because most of the action of “Breaking Dawn” has been saved for the second half. The first half simply consists of Bella and Edward’s internal “troubles”. (Something that if you would know if you read the book, however, seeing as how many have not, I don’t plan to spoil the movie.) Therefore, if many of you loved Twilight mainly because of the action (which I would find slightly ridiculous, seeing as how this is Twilight), the first part would come as a bit of a bore. None the less, I’d recommend the watching of the first part, seeing as how you wouldn’t understand the second part without it. (If you’re a person who fits under this case, I’d recommend waiting until the first part of the movie is out on DVD and rent it, rather then waste money at the movie theaters.)

Compared to the previous movies, the effects were definitely greatly improved! Especially the makeup, which will be clearly presented to you when Bella gets “sick” - only if you watch the movie, of course. The make-up artists also toned down on the paleness of the Cullens, so they looked a lot more human, and in result, became much more attractive in terms of looks. The movie also required a lot of environmental/special effects, and those were superbly impressive! All the effects were cleanly cut, and looked incredibly real with its high quality.

In terms of the actual acting, Bella Swan, or in other words, Kristen Stewart’s, acting seriously got much better compared to her previous performance in all 3 of the previous movies, although it could still receive some touch ups every now and then. All the actors actually improved greatly, (Kristen’s was just the most), so I actually found this movie quite enjoyable in terms of the individual performances.

Fans of Taylor Lautner will definitely have a love-hate relationship with this movie, because of the fact that Jacob puts up an internal fight with watching Edward and Bella, however, looks absolutely wonderful doing it. A new love I found while watching was of the youngest werewolf, Seth Clearwater, who took an absolutely adorable role in Breaking Dawn, and I’m sure many others will find themselves in the same position as me.

All in all, Breaking Dawn was quite an enjoyable movie. I was accompanied by several of my guy friends and they didn’t feel the need to flee the room, so that should be a good sign to any of you ladies wanting to take your boyfriends. (And they’re actually obligated to stay with you, so even better!) I’m definitely looking forward to the next part! (Seeing as how I have read the complete series of Twilight.)
