Today’s Cute Boy Watch features 16 year old Japanese-American actor Ryan Potter. He is known for starring as Mike Fukanaga in the Nickelodeon series Supah Ninjas. Jessica also interviewed Ryan a month ago, so check out this interview here!

Born in Oregon, Ryan’s family moved to Japan when he was a child, but moved back to the United States in 2002. While Ryan was taking Kung Fu lessons last year, his teacher happened to pass out audition slips that wanted Asian males, aged 13-15 that had some acting and martial arts experience. Although Ryan himself forgot about the auditions, his mother soon found the ad at the bottom of his bag and told him to audition for fun. He then auditioned and obtained the role of Mike Fukanaga. Currently, Ryan is a sophomore in high school and is working on getting his driver’s permit. He is also set to launch a charity toy drive sometime in the future for children in the Los Angeles area.
