Cute Boy Watch: Zayn Malik

Today’s Cute Boy Watch features 18 year old British singer Zayn Malik. He is currently in the British-Irish boyband One Direction, who came in second-runner up in the seventh season of X-Factor.

Zayn is of Pakistani descent and although he was featured on X-Factor as a contestant like the rest of the 4 boys in One Direction, his audition video was not broadcast. It was however, included in the companion show The Xtra Factor. Although Zayn had auditioned alone, like the rest of the boys of One Direction, after failing to make it past the judges table to qualify for the “Boys” category, he and the rest of the boys, from the suggestion of Nicole Scherzinger, agreed to form a group, thus, qualifying for the “Groups” category instead. Zayn was dating fellow X-Factor contestant Rebecca Ferguson, but that relationship has since ended.
