Today’s edition of Origins of Cute features Sanrio character by the name of Charmmy Kitty! Charmmy Kitty is actually the pet cat of Hello Kitty (ironic, right?). Though she looks a little like Hello Kitty, Charmmy Kitty is actually more like a cat. Her name is derived from “Charm” and around her neck lies the key to Hello Kitty’s jewelry box. Not only that, but she is loyal to her owner and is quite polite. Her pink bow was given to her by Hello Kitty as well.
