Director Tom Hooper was said to have been auditioning numerous women to play the role of Eponine in his upcoming film adaptation of the musical Les Miserables sometime near the end of November. Lea Michele, Scarlett Johansson, Evan Rachel Wood, and Taylor Swift were reportedly among the auditioners.

According to Twitch, Swift was chosen by Hooper for the part and received an offer for the role from producers at Universal. If she accepts, she’ll be working alongside Hugh Jackman, Helena Bonham Carter, Russell Crowe, Sacha Baron Cohen, Anne Hathaway, and Amanda Seyfried.

If this turns out to be true, I’ll be anticipating her acting debut!

He’s making an adaption of that movie?
I saw that movie… well, not the musical, but there is a pretty recent movie of this. It was quite good. I liked it as it is, but maybe I’ll see that one. Good luck to her and the others. 


I hope she takes the role.
She would be working with an amazing cast of actors.
