An ‘X Factor UK‘ boy band, ‘One Direction‘ was recently involved in a car crash that left three members with neck injuries.

Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zyan Malik and Louis Tomlinson had ended a Birmingham performance and were on their tour bus when a car ran into the vehicle.

Emergency workers shared that three members had extreme headaches and spinal pain, but that the injuries were not serious and were treatable. A source said:

“It was pretty terrifying for everyone concerned. All five boys, plus two members of the crew, were in their tour bus when the car rammed into the back of it. Thankfully, it withstood most of the impact but obviously, travelling at speed, the boys’ couldn’t avoid whiplash.”

As a result of the accident, the band was advised to cancel their next show in Plymouth. However, ‘One Direction’ insisted on performing and went on with the 90 minute set.

While their injuries may have not been severe, I still think they should have taken some time off to recuperate. There’s a line between being a hard worker and working too hard.
