Katy Perry may be all the rage, but a high-profile politician doesn’t really agree. British Prime Minister David Cameron has nothing against the sweet singer, but he finds the pop music produced by her to be “appalling.”
The Prime Minister didn’t stop there and continued to say that music by both Katy Perry and Bruno Mars are “beginning to infect my iPod,” due to his thoughtful kids who insist that he should be listening to more hip music. Clearly, Cameron is not into “Teenage Dreams”. However, there has to be someone that he does like, and that is The Smiths. He even states that their lyrics are “brilliant.”
Just one week ago, Cameron went to Salford, Great Manchester for work purposes, but the highlight of his trip had to be when he visited the the Salford Lads Club. Luckily for him, his beloveds were photographed there in 1986 for their album, The Queen Is Dead.
The Smiths over Katy Perry? Do you agree?
