Today’s edition of Origins of Cute features this adorable character from Reimei no Arcana by the name of Rito! Rito is the one on the right. He is an Ajin, which translates to sub-person in this manga. As an Ajin, his appearance is between that of a human and an animal. Ajins have heightened sense perceptions, so they are superior to humans, but their status is lower thanks to corrupted royalty. He goes to Nakaba’s side to be her servant during her rough time in Belquat (go read the manga - it’s awesome).
