10 amazing Disney inspired cakes

Many of us probably grew up watching Disney TV shows and movies so a trip to Disneyland usually brings back many wonderful memories from our childhood. Some of us may still enjoy those Disney films that we would even want our birthday cakes or wedding cakes to contain some traces of them and there’s nothing wrong with that. Take a look at some amazing Disney inspired cakes below.

1. Up Cake

This cake was inspire by the popular Disney/Pixar film, “Up“. The fact that the characters in the cake look like they’re flying up with the house is already incredible, but using mini macaroons as balloons is just genius. Not only do they actually look like colorful balloons, they also taste great.

2. Tinker Bell Cake

Next on our list is this adorable Tinker Bell cake. Surely any little girl or Tinker Bell fan will be ecstatic to receive this cute little cake for their birthday. Although from the upper body to the head of Tinker Bell isn’t edible (I don’t see how anyone would be cruel enough to chomp on Tinker Bell’s head anyways…), everything else is!

3. Beauty & The Beast Cake

Although I have yet to figure out if that vase is edible, the floating red rose inside of it is a very nice touch to this gorgeous Beauty & The Beast cake. I love how the cake also tells Belle’s life story in chronological order from the bottom to top.

4. Disney Princesses Cake

Nothing screams ‘Disney Cake’ louder than having our very own classic Disney princesses on it. The color and decorations on this cake is just amazing.

5. Disney Castle Cake

Yes, this Disney Castle Cake is edible. It really looks like it was made from sand, doesn’t it? I’d probably hesitate eating this cake because it looks ridiculously like a sand castle (which I’ve always failed to make at the beach, sadly).

6. Tangled Cake

We have another doll-like cake on our list but this time, it’s inspired by the Disney film, “Tangled“. I found this cake looking even more doll-like than the Tinker Bell one.

Next on our list is another “Tangled” inspired cake, but with more focus on the tower. The tower definitely proved to be one of the most difficult challenges for the cake creator since it was no easy task figuring out how to balance the top of the tower on that skinny pole. However, she made it worked and the cake turned out amazing.

8. Minnie Mouse Cake

Next up is this super cute Minnie Mouse cake. We have the perfect creation of Minnie in cake form standing next to a three layer cake designed to look like Minnie’s body. It looks cute and fun, which is perfect for any party.

9. Cinderella Cake

This next Cinderella cake is absolutely stunning. The colors, the stars, and the lopsided cakes really brings back that magical feel from the Cinderella story.

10. Cinderella Castle Cake

The details on this castle cake are exceptional. It looks like an exact replica of the Cinderella castle at Disney World.
