Japanese artist Sakurako Shimizu has been making some pretty cool jewelry that targets the geeky side of people, including a set of wedding bands that have the unique waveform of the couples saying “I do” cut into them.
These are pretty neat, I think, and completely original. I also think waveforms just look fascinating, as each one is unique to a person’s own voice. It’s sweet. And the fun thing is, the phrase doesn’t necessarily have to be ‘I do.’
Sakurako claims she “can record any words or phrases.” It could be ‘I love you’ or some secret word that have a more personal meaning. The possibilities are pretty endless, and the image produced would always come out cool-looking.
What about you guys? Would you wear/accept rings like these from a potential husband?
