Taylor Swift Wants You To Be ‘Safe and Sound’

Taylor Swift is getting fans riled up with preparations for her ‘Safe and Sound‘ music video release Monday, February 13 through one of the shortest teasers in the history of music.

MTV has already dished out a taste of Swift’s ‘The Hunger Games‘ song, and it seems that the video will be following the song’s depressing and apprehensive mood.

This particular clip opens with MTV VJ Sway introducing the ‘Safe and Sound’ video; a bright light flashes across the screen as Swift is shown walking through the woods as she sings the opening lines. The video and Swift herself is a reflection of ‘The Hunger Games’ setting and plot, in which children and teenagers are pushed into a brutal battle to the death as sick entertainment.

Swift looks lost and tired wandering the empty forest, wearing barely any makeup and a soft white gown. The scene than changes to Joy Williams and Jon Paul White (the Civil Wars) being showered in red light as White plays the guitar.
