We all know that One Direction’s Harry Styles dated 31-year-old Caroline Flack and hopes for young females were slightly lost. But now it looks like those young fangirls will never have a chance with Styles as the singer himself has stated that he loves cougars.

During an interview with We Love Pop magazine, Styles revealed the maximum age limit for an older woman, “No older than my mum and she’s 43.” Styles went on to say, “I love cougars though. Age is nothing but a number.”

Styles was also asked how his mom’s opinions would affect his relationship. He stated that he would never stop dating a girl even if his mom did not approve. “It wouldn’t affect it too much, because if you like someone you like someone,” Styles expressed.

A tip to older women who have a chance, never use pet names in front of Styles, “If she called me something like ‘snugglebug’ it would make me cringe.”

Well seeing as Harry Styles is only 18 years old, a lot of females would have a chance with him. Unfortunately for those who are younger, I guess they’ll have to stop their crazy fantasies!
