P. Diddy is no doubt a football fanatic and it looks like he dubbed himself a “motivational sideline dad” as he attends his son’s football games. His teenage son Justin Combs will begin his college football season soon at the University of California and the rapper hopes attend all the games.
“I want him to look over and see my face whether he’s falling down or in the zone doing a dance,” he explains.
The rapper use to play football in high school but after an injury, he had to forfeit his career as an athlete. Through the story of the Oscar-winning documentary, “Undefeated”, P.Diddy felt like he connected with the film. “I was so connected to the film I was crying like a baby. Like the real-life [player] in the movie, Money, I broke my leg at football camp [in high school]. It was my last game,” the rapper expressed.
Despite the old injury, the rapper has not given up on football as he thinks about “playing every day”. He also hasn’t given up on owning a NFL team one day.
It’s cute how he is so enthusiastic about football and that he wants to go and support his son. I wonder if he trains his son as well!
