Taylor Swift admires Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence film-wise

We all know that Taylor Swift is a mega=star who sings songs about being a normal girl. Young average teenage females have role models, do they not? Swift has wisely selected two actresses, Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence, whom she looks up to a great deal. Considering the major success of both, we can see that the 22-year-old singer sure knows how to pick them!

Taylor Swift has worked in ‘Valentine’s Day‘ and the recent hit ‘The Lorax,’ but she’s still looking out for more opportunities. She spoke with Inquirer about two ladies who have definitely shined in their films:

“Jennifer Lawrence is my favorite, and Emma Stone is one of my best friends… We’ve been best friends since we were 17… I cook and Emma bakes… Those are our specialties. We just talk about our lives. That’s how I feel when I’m with friends that I’ve had for years. Those are the people that I can just rant to… These are the people who know me the best. It’s crazy with all of my friends having such busy schedules and me always being gone. When you do see your friends, you value the time with them.”

It’s not often that we hear of Swift searching for roles. Remember that time she fought for, but lost, Eponine’s role in ‘Les Miserables‘ upcoming film adaption? That seemed like a rare occasion. However, the starlet has been looking into the film industry for quite some time now! To be more specific, a whole 5 years. She’s been pretty incognito when reading the scripts from her agent, though. Swift gets rather skeptical when picking any possible projects.

She shared:

“In my free time I just read and read. When I look at acting careers that I really admire, I see that it’s been a precise decision-making process for these people… They make decisions based on what they love and they do only the things that they are passionate about. They play only characters that they can’t stop thinking about.”

First of all, I commend Swift for her excellent choice of favorite actresses! Secondly, I like seeing her passion about acting and I’d be excited for her possible future projects.
