Last year, Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon had fraternal twins Moroccan and Monroe. Singer Mariah Carey wants to have her twins go into the showbiz business while father Nick Cannon says “absolutely not”.

Nick Cannon currently hosts America’s Got Talent and would like to have his children enjoy a nice childhood and receive an education before entering the world of entertainment. When asked if he would like his twins to audition for the show, Cannon replies, “Absolutely not. That’’s my personal feeling. If you asked my wife, she would say, ‘Yes! Let’’s sign them up next year!’”

However, Cannon is very optimistic in giving opportunities to those who want a chance at stardom. He explains, “As a parent, and maybe because I’m a new parent, I am so protective and so sensitive and would never want anyone to judge my child.”

Though father Cannon does not want his twins going into showbiz, he will still support whatever career path the twins choose. “Of course I am going to support whatever they want,’ he stated.

I can understand Nick Cannon’s point of view as a father but I am glad that he’s going to be supportive no matter what career path his twins choose.
