Confused? So are record buyers!

It seems like U.K’s One Direction and U.SOne Direction are at it again! This time, it’s on the charts.

Billboard reports that the U.K One Direction are currently at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, moving 66,000 copies last week, but it also reports that the U.S One Direction are at No. 48 on the Heat Seekers chart with their album ‘The Light,’ selling 6,000 total cumulative copies.

Regarding this U.S’ One Direction says, “We may not have Simon Cowell’s machine behind us, but we have many loyal fans. We thank them for supporting our albums, and we intend to stand up for the right to Rock and Roll!”

The American version of One Direction is suing Simon Cowell and Syco Records over their band name. Formed in 2009 — a full year before U.K’s edition even met — U.S’ One Direction filed a trademark on the band name. However, in a recent interview, Harry Styles and Zayn Malik from the U.K’s version of 1D said, “We’re not changing our name.”

But what do you guys think? Would U.S’ One Direction drop the case, or would they fight to the end for the band name? Tell us below!

this law suit is going to be interesting to watch ^^

Oh, I just hope it doesn’t cause a big hatred from the fans on both sides.

Yeah, I definitely think they shouldn’t drop the case, I mean, the name was their’s first. U.K should have researched about it first.

The U.S One Direction shouldn’t drop the case because it actually gets really confusing when talking about them… but what’s the big deal about the U.K One Direction? Can’t they change their name? I don’t think it should be that hard…

some one needs to change the name or something. I hate listening to the radio and not know who they are talking about.

It will be hard to win the case. But i hope they resolve it.
