One Direction’s Harry and Liam might have gotten koala chlamydia?

Recently the boys of One Direction got the pleasure of holding the cute koala Kat. But apparently the meeting wasn’t all the great for Harry Styles and Liam Payne, since the koala decided to relieve herself on them from the excitement. This would be usually be unpleasant, but in this case, there is another factor: the fact that many koalas suffer from chlamydia.

Over 80% of koalas suffer from this disease, which is a major factor in their decreasing population, as it leads to the females becoming infertile. However, koala-to-human transmission is very rare, but it still concerned the boys, as Liam commented, “I’m genuinely scared. This is worrying…I’d have never picked the thing up if I’d known.”

Hopefully, it’s nothing serious.
