I’m sure we’re all familiar with the law stating that only those at least 21 years old can purchase alcohol. Somehow Josh Hutcherson, 19, from ‘The Hunger Games‘ managed to purchase a pricey bottle of whiskey at the Ralph’s in Sherman Oaks.

TMZ managed to snap some picture of the actor leaving the market with a purchased Macallan whiskey, normally priced at around $170. They also claim that he flashed a fake ID in order to snag some alcohol.

Where do they come off saying this? They find it “interesting” that Hutcherson commented earlier this year, “I think the age to go to war is 18 … so I think the drinking age should be 18 as well.”

The punishment for this possible crime would be 6 months locked up, even though we’re all aware that it would be next to impossible for Hutcherson. TMZ attempted to contact the actor’s rep but have received no response.

Do you think Hutcherson really used a fake ID? If so, should he be punished?

Whoa, why on earth would he do that so thoughtlessly?
He is a public figure and should’ve know better:(

Well lots of people use fake ID’s and they get away with it but because hes famous he probably wont

Hmmm, time to think....lol
I really don’t know (of course not) if he used a fake ID, but if he did then yeah, he should be punished one way or the order because he shouldn’t get away with it just cause he’s famous :/
But honestly, I didn’t know you could get locked up for 6 months if you did this XD or any time in jail at all XD
Well now I know >.> lol
