One Direction’s beloved fan base, the Directioners, are known for being nothing short of crazy with adoration, but have they taken their insanity too far this time? This time they’re tackling Louis Tomlinson’s love life by tampering with both his ex and current girlfriend. They’ve decided that the best candidate for the singer’s love, aside from themselves, would be his high school love Hannah Walker.

Despite the fact that the “One Thing” singer is (happily) taken by Eleanor Calder, some fans have chosen his destiny for him. They have come to the mighty conclusion of Tomlinson ditching his current model girlfriend and reuniting with his past love, even going so far as to directly sending photos [below] of the old couple (”Louannah”) to Calder, and trending their couple name on Twitter.

One Direction’s rep commented through the Daily Mail:

“It’s upsetting for Louis and Eleanor when Twitter campaigns like this start. I know some of the fans will think it’s a bit of fun, but it’s unnecessary when they are both very happy together.”

Tomlinson also spoke about the matter by tweeting:

Truth of the matter is its actually not funny in the slightest. I’m reading through some horrible tweets very pissed off!

Very right, he is! Tomlinson continued to be the perfect boyfriend and tweeted his girlfriend supportive little notes such as “Love YOU! xxxx.” I bet the hateful fans couldn’t get a tweet nearly as endearing from him with a nasty attitude!

While I feel awful for both Tomlinson and Calder, let’s not forget about poor Walker who was pulled into this mess! She said in an interview with the Daily Mail:

“I felt terrible so I sent a text to Liam [Payne]’s girlfriend Danielle saying to tell Eleanor that I’m sorry if I’ve offended her. I didn’t want to look like an evil ex-girlfriend.”

Clearly no one is pleased by this entire ordeal. This is truly one horrendous cluster. While many fans can be supportive towards the relationship, others resort to acting upon their jealousy and attack the innocent. They need to keep a sense of reality and remember that the lives of their idols are not something they have a right to.

Some of these Directioners might be believing that they’re acting out of love for Tomlinson, but there’s also some blind hatred and jealousy there as well! I’m just hoping, for the sake of these three, that these Directioners will realize that they own no privilege in minding the personal matters of another.

What do you make of all this madness?
