No ‘N Sync Reunion Happening Anytime Soon

If you are one of the people who are waiting for ‘N Sync to reform again like New Kids On the Block did, don’t keep your hopes held up high as JC Chasez has just stated that he has no plans into getting back into a band with Justin, Joey, Chris and Lance.

Although he said the same thing in the past, he has once again told the Hollywood Reporter recently:

“It’s just not in the cards. I’m sure that everybody in my group has been asked at one time or another — I know I get asked, I know the other guys get asked — but we’re happy with what it was and we’re happy to move on. We really feel like if you’re going to do something like that, it has to be for all the right reasons. Everybody says, ‘You’ll make a ton of money, you’ll get a ton of people to come,’ but that’s not the reason we did what we did in the first place. We did what we did because we believed we had something to offer the entertainment world that was essentially fresh, and until we feel that way again, it’s not gonna happen.”

Although it sounds like it won’t happen forever, it’s nice to note that Joey McIntyre of NKOTB said the same thing four years before NKOTB got back together in 2008. So in time, there might be still a tiny bit of hope lying around.

It’s not to say that JC Chasez doesn’t support other boybands though, as he recently commented about The Wanted “having a good record” and One Direction being “a breath of fresh air”.

Although it seems like none of ‘N Sync seems to want to form up again right now, I would love it if they do in the future want to perform together on one stage as they had some previous hits that I definitely still love listening to. Although, I’m pretty happy with every single members’ solo activites right now, I think Justin should definitely release another album soon–it’s been 6 years!
