Jessie J was recently slammed with rumors about her being a diva because of her bold personality but the British singer has slammed those claims and has addressed them.

“Apparently I demanded a yoga mat and white everything in my dressing room. No, all I want is a kettle and a door that locks. Oh, and a full-length mirror so I know my shoes match my outfit. I do love having a calming candle to relax me. It’s not a diva thing though, it’s more about surviving,” the singer explains.

Jessie J was also asked about her thoughts about social networking sites and how it affects society. The singer says she does not use them often and has expressed her concerns for those obsessed with it. “People don’t talk to each other anymore, they tweet or Facebook instead,’ she says.

The singer also gives advice to those who message “I’ve got no friends”, and says they should go out and enjoy life and make their own friends. Jessie J has also emphasized that she will not “live on Twitter” because she wants a life when she’s not working.

I know that Jessie J has a very fierce personality but I don’t see her as the diva type. She’s always out thanking her fans and telling everyone how much they mean to her. It’s also great that she isn’t “living” on Twitter and that she’s actually out socializing!
