Joel Madden is ’so proud’ for not swearing during first live show of ‘The Voice’

Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden is currently a judge and mentor for the Australia version of “The Voice” and the show recently went through its first live show. Joel was so happy with his behavior during the live show, he even decided to call his mother to give her the good news.

“I’m so proud of myself for not swearing on live tv tonight :) I even called my mom to tell her!” Joel Madden tweeted.

During the first live show, Joel’s wife Nicole Richie was also in the audience and to this he tweeted, “And tho she was as quiet as a church mouse on twitter @nicolerichie was on set and loving every second of the show tonight #thevoiceau (sic)”

Joel Madden is adorable and it’s even funnier to hear that he actually called his mom to tell her. Good job to Joel for keeping the profanity’s off screen!
