Amber Riley will ‘miss the whole Glee family’

Amber Riley, who plays Mercedes on “Glee“, has announced that she has finished filming the final episode of the series. Amber has been working with the rest of the Glee cast for three years and recently tweeted that she will “miss the whole Glee family”.

The actress tweets, “That’s a wrap on Amber Riley! Just closed a chapter in my life, the only thing I’ve known day in and day out for three years.” In another tweet she writes, “I’m going to miss the whole Glee family, seeing them everyday,” and “I have so many brothers and sisters now :) But I am looking forward to a much needed and deserved summer vacation! SCHOOL’S OUT Glee Kids! Let’s play!”

Not only is Amber Riley going to miss her cast members but reports say that a lot of graduating characters have bursted out in tears on the set “randomly”. Harry Shum Jr. reveals, “There [are] a lot of tears on set, randomly. We had a rehearsal and even our choreographer had some tears. He couldn’t even get through the rehearsal…We’ve been through a long journey.”

It feels like I saw the premiere of Glee yesterday but now a lot of the characters are graduating and leaving the show. Glee will definitely not be the same without the original cast and I’m sure Glee fans will agree with this. I hope they make a guest appearance in the future or something!
