One Direction gets animated for a fan-fic

In this hilarious animation, boy band One Direction turn into cartoons thanks to Mark Parsons, the lead animator of FX’s hit series ‘Archer.’

The videos starts with Parsons talking about how 1D fan-fiction is only written by girls, how he decided to write his own fan-fic and later turned it into an animation. When ‘The Adventurous Adventures of One Direction’ begins, we find the band at the beck and call of their master, ‘Psymon’, in a near Power Ranger-like fashion. He explains that their mission is to attempt to stop a madman named Lord Faptaguise, who has stolen all of the pussycats around the globe.

The video is filled with funny moments, bold dialogue, and even a fantastic list of famous characters - including the One Direction guys, their mentor Simon Cowell in his Zordon-esque tube, and most surprisingly, a Beatle… Sir Paul McCartney. All of the characters are voiced by Mark, based in Atlanta.

Since it has been on YouTube (uploaded on May 29), the video has over 1.3 million views. So you should definitely check it out.
