Fans of the Hunger Games were excited to hear the announcement about the sequel to the first film and as more and more news about the next film comes out, the more fans anticipate. The latest piece of news is that “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” will be filmed in the Atlanta area.

The filming will commence in July and will run through to December in metro Atlanta “and beyond” and source reports.

Not sure what is in the Atlanta area to film such an intriguing sequel but definitely looking forward to all the teasers and preview pics!
