If only there was something that could teleport us to any concert at any place in the world to see our favorite artist perform. Sadly, we’re not that advanced in technology yet, but singer Usher has some pretty cool tricks up his sleeve for his fans.
Usher will be holding his concert on June 11th at London’s Hammersmith Apollo which will be streamed online via his VEVO channel. The streaming isn’t the best part. What’s really unique about this concert is that he’s planning to use digital back-up dancers. Viewers have the chance to virtually join him on stage during his performance of “Scream“.
Hamish Hamilton, the director of the concert webcast, said, “Literally, people will be able to create their own avatar and have it dance on the screen with Usher. This show is part of the American Express Unstaged series that partners up recording artists with big-time directors such as Mary J. Blige with Adam Shankman and Jack White with Gary Oldman.
