One Directioners might be wondering by now, “When will my favorite boys be making new music for my ears to enjoy?” The answer is soon. One Direction is currently working on their second album and it is planned to release around Christmas time. From today, that is six months.

It might feel like forever, but you still want quality, right? Either way, the boys are obviously excited to be back in the studio as Niall Horan posted twice on Twitter, teasing and updating fans on their work:

“great day soo far in the studio!! got some crackin tunes on the way!.. its been a while since we’ve been in the studio..great to be back.”

“Another amazing day in studio with rami,carl and @savan_kotecha , got some sick tunes for next album, and for you to hear worldwide on tour.”

And with the boys writing their own songs for their lovers and families, it’s bound to be a really special album.
