The American Idol star Jessica Sanchez recently had the opportunity to hang out with One Direction’s Zayn Malik, and it’s only natural that they snap a picture together.

Posting the picture of Instagram, Jessica wrote, “Love him soooooooo much”. However this show of affection did not roll over well with 1Ders who began sending hateful messages to the star. Her fans rallied together on twitter and trended “Be Strong Jessica Sanchez” to defend their idol.

Still, Zayn is currently dating Little Mix member Perrie Edwards. She too has been receiving a lot of hate after the couple was spotted on a date. So hateful, that Edwards deleted her Twitter account. Zayn still wishes to remain open about his relationships though, “What’s the point of lying?… You’ll just get found out and then you’ll look an idiot.”

Fans can be pretty scary sometimes. Jessica was probably just fangirling like any other fan would have.
