Hardcore fans of Lady Gaga have followed a series of clues to discover the possible title of her upcoming album, the name of which is supposed to be revealed this September.

On a Tumblr (found here) devoted to Lady Gaga, Little Monsters have laid out the evidence and suggested that the name of the album will be “White Rose Thorns.” They used tweets, photos, and past interviews of Lady Gaga and her associates in order to make this guess.

Among the clues were tweets from Fernando Garibay, a producer of the upcoming album that said, “Anyone can love a rose…it takes a great heart to include the thorns…” and, 1-2 months later, “Like a rose with it’s thorns…”

She also has posted pictures during her Born This Way Ball tour that include a white rose.

In interviews, Lady Gaga has mentioned the late Princess Diana, whose favorite flower was the white rose. Also, Vanity Fair stated that “Gaga sat at the piano and played for us a new song in which she was working on Princess Diana, a song about the death of fame and celebrity”

Although it’s not certain whether the Little Monsters are correct, I’m sure they’re on the right track! In any case, we’ll find out in September, when the title is revealed by Lady Gaga herself.
