Katy Perry has never been the type of celebrity that keeps her public life behind solid brick walls, so fans have been expecting quite a lot from her upcoming 3D movie, ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me.”
Recently, she released a shot clip that showed her family explaining how they felt watching their young, innocent daughter transform into a world famous singer.
However, since fans mean a lot to Perry, she has decided to feature some of them in the film too. “Katy tells us it’s okay to stand out … be different and unique,” the fans in the clip said, continuing, “Her lyrics have inspired me.”
Despite Katy not wanting to leave a single clip out of the film, many had to be edited out due to time constraints. Also, many were a bit too inappropriate for the film, and she cut those too. “Maybe behind closed doors, I’m a little bit crazier, and maybe I wanted to put in a swear word that wasn’t appropriate,” she explained about the clips that never made it to the final product. “But then after having the conversation I kept thinking to myself, ‘It’s not appropriate!’”
On the 5th of July, ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me’ will be in theaters, so check it out before the tabloids ruin the surprise!
