Lady Gaga‘s recorded ‘Glitter & Grease’ was only ever heard by the studio, but it has finally been leaked. At the Monster Ball back in 2010, Gaga performed this song, and fans begged for a studio version. Now, they’re getting it!
Written by Gaga and her then boyfriend and producer, Rob Fusari, the song is said to be about Gaga’s on-again, off-again relationship with Luc Carl, who is said to have loved his car more than his girlfriend!
This can be explained in the lyrics, “He tells that he loves me / And even though I’m real sexy / He loves his car, car, car / He’s always with his car / Car / Car / So I rub that glitter and grease around.” Almost brings a tear, doesn’t it?
The song has already been compared to Gwen Stefani’s Hollaback Girl, due to its sassy, strong and sexy lyrics. While all Gaga’s little monsters can’t stand Luc for what he did to their mother monster, they cannot stop thanking him for the catchy song that he got out of her.
