With less than two weeks before her movie releases, Katy Perry is reportedly taking a break from her career.

Perry is looking to properly recover from her divorce, stating: “I need to let my heart heal,” according to Daily Mirror. She further revealed that she does not regret her relationship with her ex by claiming that: “Everybody asks me if I regret something, they ask me if it’s going to be that one moment … Actually it’s really a lesson learned and it’s super valuable, I could not buy this lesson. And I apply it to my life, I learn and a lot of the time, I get really good material for my songs.”

Well, in the meantime her film “Katy Perry: Part of me” will release in theaters on July 5th, until then, we will have to wait for new music from her.
