While many people are working hard to pay the bills, two dogs, Coton de Tulear Baby Hope Diamond and poodle Chilly Pasternak, were married at the Jumeirah Essex House Hotel in New York’s Central Park this past Thursday. The total cost, you ask? The total added up to $158,187.26, which is now the Guinness World Record for the Most Expensive Pet Wedding.

While many of you are shaking your heads in disappointment, owner of Baby Hope Diamond, Wendy Diamond, is an animal activist and she claims that this was done for good reasons.

She says that it will benefit the Humane Society of New York, as all of the goods and services from the ceremony were donated. That makes it all better…

Hopefully the two pups actually get along!
