With Adele recently announcing her pregnancy, rumours have been flying about her state. These include: her being already seven months pregnant–giving birth before the summer ends, and now, that she’s already spent $50,000 on her new baby’s nursery!

Although the singer has a reputation of being frugal (aka thrifty) with her cash, it seems like she doesn’t mind using up her money for her new child, a source states:

“She is building state-of-the-art nurseries in all her homes. She’s having bespoke wallpaper made and it’s costing a fortune with climate control and cameras so she can see everything on her laptop.”

Also with this rumour comes a list of what she’s already purchased:

  • Pre-ordered Bon Point unisex baby clothes
  • Three Bugaboo pushchairs
  • A £600 ($1,000!) Moses basket
  • An antique bear for £5,000 ($6,088.99!)
  • Picture frames and trinkets from Tiffany’s (these probably cost a fortune)

    • Seeing how Adele has worked for her cash, I don’t see why she can’t splurge a bit for her baby, but $50k is a bit too much in my opinion. What do you guys think?

    it’s her first baby and she has a ton of money in her hands so it’s her decision to buy what she wants. i however think that’s too much D:


    she has the fortune to do so; so it’s ok for me. but i hope the to-be-born-child won’t take that for granted~ ang i hope she’ll have an easy labour~


    Wow, thats alot of money


    $50k is way to much - you could buy 3 cars with that or donate some instead. And it seems like a lot of the stuff is just for show.
