Jennifer Hudson’s family murderer finally sentenced

After a longly awaited verdict, the murderer of Jennifer Hudson’s family has finally been convicted of first degree murder, home invasion and residential burglary. William Balfour has been sentenced for life.

William Balfour murdered Jennifer Hudson’s mother Darnell Donaldson, brother Jason Hudson and 7-year-old nephew Julian King in 2008 and now we finally see results.

Jennifer and her family sat through the entire trial to hear the sentencing and Balfour refused to admit to being guilty and “proclaimed his innocence right until the very end”.

The judge himself reportedly looked into Balfour’s eyes and said, “Your soul is as barren as dark space.”

Jennifer Hudson and her family must’ve had an enormous weight lifted off their shoulders after hearing the verdict. I am however surprised that it took four long years to finally sentence this man!
