Lady Gaga to make her acting debut in ‘Machete Kills’

Lady Gaga was recently confirmed to star in Robert Rodriguez’s upcoming film “Machete Kills“, a sequel to his 2010 action-thriller “Machete“. Lady Gaga will be making her acting debut in this film and Robert has been “blown away” by the singer’s performance in the film.

Robert Rodriguez wrote in a tweet, “I just finished working with @LadyGaga on @MacheteKillsShe kicked SO MUCH A*S! Holy Smokes. Blown away!”. This this tweet, Lady Gaga replied, “Yes its true, I will be making my debut as an actress in the amazing MACHETE KILLS BY @RODRIGUEZ (sic). IM SO EXCITED!!! AH! Filming was insane.”

The storyline of the film will revolve around the main character Machete who is hired by the US government to take down a Mexican arms dealer.

“Machete Kills” will be released in theatres next year and will star Danny Trejo as Machete, Charlie Sheen as the President of the United States, Mel Gibson as villainous arms dealer Luther Voz and Sofia Vergara as a dominatrix.

Seems like a very interesting film and I hope to see how well Lady Gaga can act!
