…A reason involving Emma Roberts! Could there be a story behind Miley Cyrus‘ change in hair color?

Miley and her fiancé Liam Hemsworth, as people in the entertainment industry, often have to flirt or otherwise be close with others of the opposite sex for their line of work. But this time, “Miley doesn’t want Liam socializing with a loose cannon like Emma.”

Meanwhile, though Miley has made her position clear to her, Emma apparently “makes fun of Miley behind her back, saying she’s just a washed up tween star.” A source also claims that Emma is stretching her connection with Liam as far as it can go, and that he’s also enjoying the attention.

However, the claims saying that she showed up on set stating that she was “single and ready to mingle” were most likely inaccurate, since Emma is reportedly dating Evan Peters of “American Horror Story.”

This may not seem like it would make Miley jealous enough to dye all of her hair blonde (maybe she was trying to get in touch with her Hannah Montana days instead…), but with Hollywood, you never know!
