Over the years, artists have taken Hello Kitty’s base image and created variations such as pirate, punk rock, goth, ballerina, etc. Hello Kitty. She’s also used to promote other series or films, in collaborations such as the Hello Kitty X The Ring tie-up. This has inspired people like Joseph Senior to make dream collabs of their own.

For years, Senior, an illustrator at a New Zealand ad agency, has crossed Hello Kitty with different people and characters. Some of his ideas can be seen below, more can be seen here, and even more can be seen on his Flickr website.
