50 Shades of Grey will not see Elizabeth Olsen in it

With Emma Watson being the most recent actress to slap down the rumour of her being in the 50 Shades of Grey film adaptation, it looks like the rumours have turned to other actresses that include: Kristen Stewart, Emma Roberts, Shailene Woodley, Amanda Seyfried, Dakota Fanning, and even Lindsay Lohan. Another one of these was Elizabeth Olsen, who has also turned down the rumour.

As the younger sister of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Elizabeth Olsen made her big film debut as an actress last year in Martha Marcy May Marlene but she has clearly stated that she would not be doing the Twilight fanfiction adaptation.

She also commented on the novel:

“But it’s had a huge impact on society. Apparently rope sales have skyrocketed because women who’ve read the book are really getting into bondage, which is kind of great. It’s such a taboo for women to actually discuss sexuality without the help of Cosmopolitan. All of a sudden, this book has become a sensation because the women reading it haven’t had access to this kind of thing before. I was talking to a guy who was making a joke about it, saying, ‘Clearly these women just need to watch porn.’ In a way, he’s right.”

Although you won’t see her in 50 Shades of Grey, you can be assured that she and Dakota Fanning are coming out with a movie planned for release in 2013, entitled Very Good Girls.
