After Gabrielle “Gabby” Douglas scored the top spot on the medals stand in Thursday’s all-around gymnastics competition, she took a photo with the three other women who achieved the same result.

The 16 years old officially joined the ranks of Nastia Liukin, Carly Patterson and Mary Lou Retton and has gained much praise, since, after all, she is the first African-American woman to win gold in the women’s all-around.
