Photos surfaced on Reddit where a dog was carrying her 10-days old puppies to safety from a fire, the pictures had a lot of warm and fuzzy reactions.

The local news agency Soy Temuco reports that a house fire in Temuco, Chile, destroyed the portion of the house where the pups lived.

The puppies were delivered to safety by the mother dog to a fire truck, but the homeowner Omar Torres was transported to a local hospital for burn treatments.

Sadly, later it was reported that one of the puppies called Amparo died on Thursday because of severe burns. But the rest of the puppies are in a stable condition.

This really shows what great instincts a mother dog has when it comes to the safety of her puppies.
