Rihanna has just signed a contract, which will last 3 years, which has officially made her the face of Barbados.

As the singer’s native country, she is acting as an ambassador to hopefully promote tourism to the country.

A few days ago, Rihanna was spotted shooting the campaign on a beautiful beach of the island.

“According to BTA chairman Adrian Elcock, production on the promotional campaign is expected to begin soon,” the Barbados Free Press stated. “It will be launched in September, in time for the winter tourist season.”

It’s good to see that she still values her hometown!
