will.i.am went hungry as a child

Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am recently discussed the hardships of his childhood and revealed that he often had to leave the house at 5am to go school. He also revealed that the early starts meant that he also had to miss meals.

The artist revealed, “Sometimes I would miss breakfast and when you’re on food stamps and lunch tickets, missing breakfast is not good for a kid.”

will.i.am also stated that he is saving up to move his entire family to a nicer area of Los Angeles. “I moved my mom, cousins, my uncles and my grandma. I moved them to the Valley to be near the rabbis. It was either the drive-bys or rabbis and I picked the rabbis,” he said proudly.

It’s said to hear about his childhood and his hunger but look where he is now. It’s great that he is trying to give the best to his family.
