The second night of the Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions may have been quite an amazing event for spectators, but it did not end too well for US gymnasts, and Olympic medalists, McKayla Maroney and Aly Raisman.

The two were reportedly injured while performing on the uneven bars, which is supposedly both of their weakest event. Maroney, who claimed a silver medal on vault in the 2012 Olympics, was seen being carried out of the arena after she fell during her landing. This is not her first injury, as she has had sever toe issues, as well as a broken fibula whilst in London.

Raisman, who took home gold for her gymnastics floor routine, landed on her stomach as she fell from the uneven bars. According to people who saw the fall, she landed on hard concrete, which was not covered by a mat.
